Cyber Warriors preparing for Battle

Cyber Warriors preparing for Battle

Student teams of eight will fight to protect their computer networks and business from outside hackers in a three-day competition.

The 2012 Western Regional Collegiate Cyber Defense Competition kicks off on Friday, March 23 in Pomona, California as students from across the states of California, Nevada and Arizona compete for the title of ‘Elite Cyber Warriors’.

The threat landscapes are continuously evolving, with an increasing demand from both Congress and corporations to protect our nation’s infrastructure, protecting confidential client information, and intellectual property worth billions of dollars. The question remains ‘Who will protect our nation, and who will train the next generation cyber warriors?’
