Anyhow, don't know much of the group, but it seems like they are trying to add a long list of popular celebrities to attract a wide variety of audiences to play The Sims 2. So the question is: Which Singers and/or Actors would you like to see added to The Sims 2: Pets lineup?

Oooh, ooh!!!! I know what they need! A crooner's station, with Frank Sinatra, Billie Holiday, etc. That's my favorite music, and I'm betting a lot of other sim fans like it too.

I'm more of a rock/alternative music fan, but I guess newer bands in those genres would not want to be associated with Sims and would be more suited to games like DDR and Guitar Hero. :o I suppose that's why I have my own mp3s in the game. :D

As for celebrities...I wouldn't mind putting Hillary Duff, Lindsay Lohan, and Paris Hilton through the asylum challenge...j/k :p

Wouldnt that be pretty hard to make a drew sim when there is not hair...face look or anything quite like her on the games so far?
Obviously you could make one alike..but not like the one they made just like hilar duff:)

I really hope your kidding. It's fairly easy to make the celebrities, and I'm sure others have made a Hilary Duff before as well. Here is one example of someone who made a Drew Barrymore Sim: http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=87434

Remember that you can download hair and clothing and anything is possible with this game.

On the page I sent you is specifically states: http://216.32.95.41/images/gamehas_sims2.gif You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed above installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Only the Sims2 icon is there so that's all you would need. HOWEVER...you also need the downloads for hair, eyeliner, and her outfit which are also linked on that site. You could get away with just the hair though if that's the style you want her to have.

You just gotta research what it is you want. Check out the Sims2 official website too and do a search for Drew Barrymore...or any other celebrity that you'd like, and I'm sure you'll come up with something.

Its totally confusing...i try getting hair...it downloads comes iup in this box..as a whole code..not a picture....do you have to find them off your files whilst creating a sim on the game? like if i got hair and eyes....would i get them onto the game once im playing it..creating the sim i want?

Whoah....stop making it so difficult! You need to download it into the downloads file for the Sims, which would be found here: My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Downloads.

Do a google search for the Sims2 file maid, she'll do it for you if you install that program. Once you go into the game, the download will be there. It won't show up as a picture when you look at it outside the game. If what you are downloading says a Mesh is required, find that mesh and download it as well or else it won't show up correctly in your game. The site will normally include the link to the mesh or tell you where to get it. If you can't figure it out then don't worry about downloading and just play with what comes in the games.

You know, I just gave this advice to someone else.

Newbies, if you have a question, do us a favor and search for it first. Chances are your question has been asked before.

If you have a new, unique problem that arises feel free to ask.

A lot of this stuff comes with experience. Play the game for a while. Don't worry about making mistakes. Experiment. Have fun. It is, in the end, only a game.

We like having new members, but you need to take some initiative. Research a problem before dumping it on us.

I read that last night and I don't remember most of it, but I believe that all those characters were put there as the font that was used wasn't supported by the worldsims server. =)

But these downloads jst wont work fr me...i probably havent got something else instaled on the computer that you guys have or something. But really...one last thing..what/where do u find the downloads once theyre downloaded..how do u appear them on the game?

HOWEVER, my suggestion right now is that you not get downloads quite yet. Wait a little while until you are much more familiar with the game.

In the meantime, walk your sim over to a mirror, click on the mirror and choose Change Appearance. You'll get a screen where you can change the hair, makeup, put on glasses, etc. You can do quite a bit just with the mirror because EA/Maxis has already supplied the game with a few options for hair and makeup.

i agree, i saw them!! i went to warped tour, if anyone knows what that is, its a huge concert with like 50 some odd bands and i met soo many bands and saw so many.. it was fun.. and i CROWD SURFED!!! haha ok sorry im getting carried away.. but it was sooo fun!

Oh ok, maybe thats the best thing to do. However...it would be nice...to have a new set of hairstyles etc..which probably arent so conplicating in fathering out..but really..i just need someone to tell me where ill find the downloads:)
