download freezes!!!!!!!

when i download the sims 2 it freezes at 23% then i try and do it again it goes to the second cd but then freezes on that disk. i try it for a third time and it stops at 23% again! rrrr.:mad: someone help!

I can't believe I'm having the same problem as you. I bought the Sims 2 game on Wednesday and still haven't been able to load it. Yes, usually around the 23% point it stops, I input disk 2, and nothing happens. I've run numerous virus/spy/adaware programs and it still won't load...bit of a drag. Any help would benefit; thanks for your patience,

Ok, this may sound funny but I had the same problem and I realized that I was kinda jumping the gun..... When it asked for the next disk, I was clicking ok before the disk started to load and it would stop at 23% or 77%. I would insert disk and then when the cd drive would start running at a steady pace that is when I would click ok and it seemed to solve the problem. I hope this works, just a suggestion. Yes, it worked!! I can't believe it? Thanks again!!! To recap, I bought Sims Pets for my daughter last week. I got home and found out I required Sims 2 to install Pets. Well, you know the rest, I bought everything but felt I had nothing--- until you came around...Finally, some relief!!!!:D

whenever i'm installing mine it finished installing disk 2 then i put in disk 3.
when i put it in the little box that displays your installing progress goes white.
The whole box goes white, i wait a little bit and then i x-it out of it and the box pops up and said this program is not responding blah blah blah.
So thats as far as i get.:mad:
