Hi everyone,
I'm new to the forum and, after scouring the past threads, I am still mystified about what's happening with my sims. I've played the same family (multiple generations) on the same computer for a while now, and this is the first time this issue has cropped up. The game play is relatively good (just a few pauses in the action here and there -- nothing serious), but no matter what I do, the clock always runs on "Normal" mode. When the sims sleep, when they go to work, if I click the button manually, it is always the same. The button will light up, I hear the sound for the ultra speed mode, but the clock and the sims don't change speed. In fact, things might even get a little slower. I tried the same thing in another, similarly equipped house in the neighborhood, and everything worked fine. So, I'm baffled.
