ok this is quite complicated.
on my computer, i had the sims 2, the sims 2 uni and the sims 2 nightlife.
but then my friend lent me open for business, and my sister bought pets.
I wanted a clean start, to get rid of all my lame families, so i uninstalled everything.
then i reinstalled the sims 2, then ofb, then uni, then i tried to install nightlife.
but around halfway through the file transfer.
i got a error message which said
"a problem occured when trying to transfer the file 'D:\TSBin\Sims2EP2.exe' from the media. Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installation?"
so i pressed retry then i few seconds later it popped up again.
ive tried and tried and tried and tried and tried.
so many times that ive actually memorized the security code on the back of the manual.
ive tried installing it off the hard drive, and that didnt work.
its completely clean.
and it worked on my sisters computer.
has anyone got any ideas? much apprieciated.
