sims 2 wont download right.

ok
so at one point sims 2 worked.
i bought it, i uploaded it. and it worked
well lots of stuff happened and i had to uninstall it.
so.. thinking it would work, iv been trying to reinstall it for quite some time
when i put the first disk in.. it starts downloading and it works fine
then this happens.

everytime
and i dont know why
i click retry and it starts again, but soon after it gets me the message.
and it keeps doing that untill like 60% then it just dies
do i need to fix somthing?
iv tried and tried several times but it never seems to work.
please please help

How do your discs look? I've had this problem before when my discs were dirty. What I did was clean them with a little bit of dish soap and water and dried them with a soft cloth and tried again.

i tryed and its still messed up
i dont understand
(i really thought it would work because it did look alot cleaner after i did that)
from what i can see theres nothing wrong with the CD

well.
good news and bad news.
first
i manualy installed the game.
and it worked fine.
but now when i go to play it it freezes on the EA games screen
then it tells me the game or whatever has crashed.

im not sure whhhhy its doing this
damaged disk perhaps?
iv been looking around and other people had this problem
some were saying its a video card..
what?

im not sure what i need or how to figure that out :]
