I recently installed The Sims 2 on my laptop with most of the expansions that I got from a friend. The Sims 2 base game works fine, but when I installed the expansions and ran the game, something else happens. I can build the house, I can pretty much do everything. Except install a shower, toilet or bed. Seems pretty much to me about the decensor thing that my friend asked me to install along just for fun. I could click on the menu for the toilet, but when i tried to install it into the house, the game hangs and after a while, it goes into BSOD mode.

That is what I got. So I uninstalled everything and reinstalled it, 5 times over and it is still the same problem. Even with ISO's I got from the internet, it still occurs. I uninstalled all the expansion packs leaving only the base game and it runs fine like a sunny day.
Could anyone help me please? This is driving me nuts and I'm a big Sims fan. I kind of feel like smashing my head into a wall because I cannot update my graphics card driver from ATi too. Feel like downgrading it to see what happens. This doesn't happen with The Sims 1 though.
