sims 2 cd problem

hi all
am new here infact this would b my first post

i hv been viewing all the threads abt "insert the correct cd" problem and tried doing all the stuff .. but i cant find that "DLA" thing we have to uncheck in cd options. s there some crack and stuff or some link or anything .. im so lost

Could you describe your problem in more detail please?

First of all, is your copy of the game a legal copy? Because as far as I know, only pirated copies have the "wrong CD inserted" problem. (Please don't get the wrong idea, I'm not accusing you or anything :)) But I could be wrong - if other people know they'll post :p

Is this the first time you installed the game? Also, do you have only The Sims 2 installed or have you installed an expansion pack as well? And have you downloaded the patch for The Sims 2?
