It seems so quiet here and I don't know what to do to bring particpation up! :(
Out of the 2,900 registered users, we have here at WorldSims, only 50 people post here!!
WHERE IS EVERYONE!?!?!? What should I do to get more people to particpate in our discussions? :(

Walkthroughs (or Walkthrus) for SC4, together with tips and opinions? The site is, to my mind, a little lacking in detail of what to do in SC4. It strikes me as a deep game that could go anywhere.

I don't know enough about SC4 to do such a thing. I am, at present, working very hard on Trade Empires and on Imperialism II: The Age of Exploration. They are both difficult games - not complicated - difficult, or hard. I love them difficult because it really makes my brain tick, as opposed to semi-morphic state it is usually in. There are many who could do it for you and you see their names on the web site every day. The only trouble, I guess, is that they usually have jobs - you know, things that mean they can't do anything else all day; or else they are students.

*cough*
also if you visit any other boards you can just add a link to worlds in your sig, that usually gets everyone looking. That's what i've been doing for other sites, except i tricked them by making the link say FREE PORN! and then they'd click the link but finish up at rock palace. :p

Lol, Grey... That's a good idea.... I'll have to do that with a couple of other sites I've joined.
Well, it got a few people to at least look around rock palace, GR suddenly got a new member every 10 minites for about a week, and Tagmonkey got a few sign ups.

No I didn't...I just felt it is morally and ethically wrong to use porn as a way to gain visitors....imagine what sort of crowd we would attract! People would start posting porn links! :o

The link type you post, is the exact type of crowd you will get.
Well back onto the origional part of the topic. You're worried there are'nt enough people here. Beleive me, it's much better to have a nice small well known community on forums rather than forums with 8000 registered users and about 1000+ of them posting, just 500 is too much. There are constant flame wars, there will always be an argument, everyone could be on their best behaviour but in the end flame wars will arise. The spam rate is unbeleivable. Trust me, this is fine as it is. :)

Well, I put a link in my signature for this one site... I didn't do the 'porn' thing because I know bit of the people on that site are into that sort of thing and I don't really want them to come here; get angry and start flaming everyone. :p
Anyways, hopefully we can get more people that post a lot and listen to the rules. :D

it would attract mostly males so....hey what am i complainin for? it a way to meet guys!
well, it's worked before and it did'nt attract a bunch of guys who focus only on porn. No flame wars either, i got a little heat but i did'nt care, in the end they stayed.

Gee, Grey, you mean there's no porn on this site!? How utterly deceiving of you...after all, that's why I came here in the first place!!! :p
Actually, I'm just kidding...to those of you who panicked at my first comment!!! LOL :) I find it hard to keep up with all the new posts now...not sure how well I'd do if there were double the people posting!! :(
i did'nt link to this site <_<

How does hataz_gon_hate know what the gender is of the people who write e-mails. I joined a site recently, thinking it was for men, and it is entirely for women. It is, I am afraid, only moderately interesting.
It's not entirly for women, josh - bloke - timz - bloke - me -bloke - er....bryan! - bloke - ......some other guy - bloke.

Grey, kindly watch the language...thx.
Seriously, I would like to have the forums expand a tiny bit where we are all still very close, however still active enough.

I am afraid that I agree with Josh. No porn, please. Remember some of us are British.

LOL...now that was funny!! Thanks for that contribution, Sir Philip of Tarbuck!! :) Grey...do you agree with his assessment of Brits?...I notice that is where your location is too. LOL As a British Empire Loyalist descendant, I can attest to that "stiff-upper lip" thing that is so prevalent....that's why I broke with family tradition and married a man of French/Irish descent!! ROFLMAO!

Tarbuck - Thors Brook - of Viking descent? Does that make me a Brit? And no 'Sir' please. I hate all that nonsense. That and the House of Lord (must be in capitals). I will never ever call anyone Sir again, except if I should wind up in court - which I very much doubt!
My world would also ban motorcycles, and that would not make me very popular, but it is never going to happen. I am not sure about alcohol. Perhaps that ought to be banned as well, but America had a lot of trouble with that, didn't they?
