my expansion packs won't install!

i just got the sims 2 for mac along with the university and open for business expansion packs. i installed the original and loaded it a couple of times just fine. when i installed the expansion packs, it said they were installed correctly, but when i tried to play the game i got a message to insert the original disk. i did, and when the game loaded, nothing from the expansion packs showed up. what happened? help!

Which disk did you insert to play with? You need to play with the Open for Business disc in order to view any of the expansion items.
