Wrong Installation Order

Hey Everyone,
I'm new here as you can tell. On accident, I happend to install the Sims 2 with expansions in the wrong order. Now, when I try to install a new lot, etc., I get an error saying the expansion needed to install this lot isn't installed. Is there any way I can fix this without uninstalling the whole game? Help is appreciated.

Exactly which order did you install it in?

I think you should back up your files, then uninstall, then reinstall. I'm not entirely sure your past sims would come out of it in one piece though...Maybe you should check the official site. They might have some answers in an FAQ section.
