more people in community lots

Is there a way to get more people going to community lots. At the moment, the maximum amount of sims at a community lot at a time is about 8 other than your own sims.

I want this because i made a really big shopping center and it looks like it's all empty because no one is going there.

Your computer may not be able to handle any more. When I upgraded to a faster chip I noticed a lot more people suddenly came to my community lots. I used to only get a few.

Plus I think it depends on the neighborhood, to some extent. I have one where I have around 150 player sims, so there are just more people than in my towns that are just starting out. I've noticed that one gets a lot more community lot traffic.

Yeh I think that in order to get more sims going to your shopping center you need to upgrade :/ I think Dowtown lots get more sims than other community lots, where is your community lot located?
