You must host a web site, with gaming content, showing SimGames.net advertising code, in order to be considered an active SimGames.net member.

By the end of the month, I will evaluate all hosting accounts that do not meet this guideline and give a month's warning to either post a gaming web site or prepare to find other hosting.

SimGames.net is here to provide gaming fans with a place to share fan content with other fans, in public and uses of our service that do not do this fail in two respects:

A) They do not show our advertising, which means we take the cost of resources used by you without any benefit to us.
B) They conflict with our fundamental mission to provide quality hosting for gaming fan sites.

For the same reason, new hosting accounts created after April 15th will no longer be able to provide web site hosting without first developing an actual web site. I am no longer willing to offer hosting to users that sign up solely to "resell" our server resources for their own "free hosting" endeavors. Once users feel they have established an adequate fan site, they will be able to apply for an upgrade to a higher level hosting plan that permits hosting of other web sites.

All existing members that meet other requirements will be grandfathered in, but we will frown upon existing members that don't provide a "real" web site along with their hosting system.

All this is designed to provide a better overall use of resources and to ensure SimGames.net returns to what it was created for: providing a place for quality fan sites to call home.
