My SQL Help

When ever i try to install a script which needs My SQL i dont really know what i am doing.

I have tried to install a web ring for my site. I dont know the Data Base Name and password. Do i need to make a new username and password? Also is the 'host' local host?

Same for installing a 'topsites' i am not sure what to and i always get errors!

If you have any tips/advice please let me know.

1. sign ito you control panel
2. goto databases,MySQL, MySQL DB's
3. there you will find Host Name and Database name and Database users
Those are the three things that scripts aks for.
