View Full Version : how do I get Management?

okay so after a lot of custom content, I suddenly wanted one of my sims to own a business...only to find that after she opens the business (a diner) she no longer has the "management" option present.

Im confused, can I get that back or am i gonna have to delete a lot of my custom content to get it back? o.O

all I really want is to be able to lay off people I dont need && assign them uniforms...

I was going to reply yesterday, when I saw this but bumping your own posts is poor.

Is the diner a home business? If so you can't run a restaurant business from home.

Apart from that I am not sure which option on which menu disappears after you open the business.

Please post a clear description of the problem.

For example. You might tell us:

I can click on Ivan and among the option I have the option: Management

When he opens the business that option is gone

If you want to manage employees you have to call them in first and they can't be called in until the business is opened. Oh loads of possibilities ... you gotta tell us more. OK?

sorry about the bump, but Im kinda in a deadline for an episode I was making with my sims 2.

but anyway, the thing is that its not an in home business, its actually on a commercial lot. The management option just does not appear in the option pie at all - even when I call in the employees, its just not there.

=/ It literally does not matter who I click, the employee or the employer. The managment option just doesnt appear.

Sounds like something has broken. Enter debug mode and force a few errors on things to see what occurs. You're pretty much on your own with this short of downloading a utility scan all your custom content for hack conflicts. The hard way of find a bad mod is to pull out all downloads and then add them back in batches until the error returns.

You definitely need to load up the business with all custom content disbaled to see if the problem is still there so we know if that is the problem.
