making a restaurant

ok i know OFB has been out a while but i'm just now getting into making home-based business.....i already have a booming flowershop and want to make a restaurant but i have a few questions....

1. can you make a restaurant on a residential lot?

2. do you need anything special to run a restaurant out of your home other than the obvious things.....stove, fridge, etc....?

3. what skills, other than cooking, will come in handy?

Not too sure bout #1

2. You will need the little stand where you use to seat customers.

3. I dont think any other skill is needed though. But I feel that if you became friends with most of the customers, they will be happier and less annoying :rolleyes:

And its always best to use family members to run your restaurant. I have a 3 member family, and it came in handy. Dad is a cook, mom the person who seats the customers, and the daughter is the waitress. You can control them all which is really good. :D

Other than that, I cant remember much as I had the restaurant quite sometime back. Tried it once and thats it :p

I'm pretty sure you can only make restaurants on community lots.
