Fav Sims 2 game?

Hey peeps! :dopey:

I was just wondering which sims game is the most popular right now. I think it will probably be Seasons because it's so new and weather is what we've all been waiting for, right? WEATHER!! Sorry, still trying to get over the fact that there's weather now :rolleyes: and I love it :D

So anyways, tell me which sims game is your favourite and which is your least favourite. Heck, you can even tell me which is your fav orgiginal sims game! I just wonna know!! lol.

My fav is probably seasons because of the weather and I love the new reflections in the pools and stuff (yes, I'm one of those people that love the smallest things the most :slaphappy:) and it was Night life before seasons came out because NL added so much cool stuff!
Seasons >> NL >> Pets >> Uni >> The random sims 2 :p

The one that I disslike the most is probably Uni because it was such a dissapointment that you didn't actually get to go with the sims to their classes:sob: Well, ok it wasn't that bad :D I just got it for the new clothes and the stuff that you got with it. Usually, the Universities are my dumping ground for un-wanted sims. Yep, I'm so nice.:cheerful:

So tell me tell me tell me which game you like the most!!

My new Fav is Seasons, next is Open For Business, Nightlife Love the cars and dates, Uni Last wanted to go to class with them too.
Haven't got Pets yet, my little old machine would just keel over.
Old Sims Fav Making Magic and Superstar, liked Hot Date of course liked the least Vacation and Living Large. Unleashed kinda disappointed me, hope the Pets is better.

I wonder if the new game will follow along the same lines as the original sim series.

I think my faves has to be:
1. Seasons and Pets.
2. University
3.Open for business
4. Nightlife
then the to Stuff packs,
Glamor life, and family Fun

Unleashed kinda disappointed me, hope the Pets is better.

Personally, I think that Pets rocks Unleashed. Firstly, what kinda name is Unleashed for a game with pets in?? Pets is a much better name :D

The actual game is a bit better than Unleashed. It's great being able to costumise your pets! and choosing their personality is good as well cos I remember in Unleashed that your pet just got any random personallity and it was bloody hard getting kittens and puppies and they turned out not to be puppies which SUCKED! I love the pupps and kitts in Pets, they're adorable!!:rolleyes: But the jobs that the cats & dogs do kinda suck. And my rule is: if you're trying to get a big family, don't get a pet cos you're not going to have time to take care of all the people in the family and the pets (having todlers and babies in the family at the same time while you have a pet is very frustraiting - todler's dying of hunger, the baby stinks and is lying in its cott screaming its head off and the pet is craving your attention). Building up a good relation with your pet is pretty hard when you have kids that also need your attention.

But other than that, I think that Pets is great. I mean, you don't have to have pets in every family! It's just a great way to freshen up a family that's gettin a bit boring! :D

I get a bit disapointed with pets, i was expecting to control dogs and cats as we control sims...:( I only get Nightile because of Vampires and cars, i usually don't go to Dowtown to much, it's boring...

Same here, and i dunno wether any one els has this problem, but when you have a puppy/kitten, and somehow it manages to get out side, it cant get back it, coz they cant climb up stairs.
so when its snowing, i can never seem to find my pup/kitten, if there out side coz the snow covers them up.
anyone know what i can do about this?

Oh no, how terrible!! Poor puppy/kitten! Sorry, but I'm not going to be much help here cos I haven't got Seasons yet and my whole game-system has crashed on my computer (:weeping:) but my advice would be: do anything you can to get your pups and kittens away from the snow!!

And yeah, that's bout it. Pretty lame advice huh? :rolleyes: :innocent:

Seasons is my favorite because I absolutely love how it can rain and snow and everything else now!! I've wanted it to do that for so long, that I am still having fun simply with the day to day changes for my sims. It's like a real environment. :) Pets is fun, I have to agree with previous posts it's MUCH better than unleashed. Nightlife, I only bought recently so I'm still playing around with it when I'm not having fun with seasons. Open for business and University for me were the most disappointing. This may be because I have had them for so long and the awe factor is gone. I've deleted both from my computer in hopes to make the game run faster, so I don't ever play them anymore. That's my list :)

What you are doing is not big and it's not clever and moreover, you're neither funny nor original. LOL but you know that you don't really need to have a downtown unless you want to meet the grand vampires. If you just want a vampire but not the disc cluttering (and game clunging) of a sub-neighborhood adding another gazillions NPCs to your game you can always use the debug cheats to change any sim into a vampire. Likewise with the OFB shopping areas ... you don't really need to a add in a Bluewater Village to your neighborhood. It's just as easy to plop down a few small community lots for your sims to buy when they want to run a business. I try to keep my game light by having just one college campus and no other sub-hoods at all. In my game all the neighboring areas are purely in my imagination.

Once a sim dies or you **inadvertently** kill them off, you can call the Grim Reaper with the Paranormal Career Reward. I can't remember exactly what that reward it called, but it's a phone on a pedestal. Anyhow, call him, and if you don't pay him a lot, he'll bring your sim back, but they'll be a little "off." Hence, the zombie is born.

PLEASE, anyone, correct me if I'm wrong. It's been quite a while since I've created/used a zombie.

My favorite game that I have is definitely Pets. This way, I can completely remake my friends' and I's families! However, I really want Seasons and have been saving for over a month. If it's as good as people say it is, it'll definitely be my favorite. Also, for anyone that didn't catch it, the reason they called the game "Unleashed" was a pet joke. Get it? "Unleashed", "Un-leashed"? It's a pun.

I believe I got this information from a member we haven't seen very much of around here lately (Werebear):

When you call Grimmy to resurrect a sim, if you pay simoleons in the following amounts, you should get the results shown:

0-987: Grimmy gets mad, keeps your money, no other effect
988 - 4127: Zombie, resurrected sim gets angry with caller
4128 - 8512: Personality reversal
8513 - 10000: Perfect resurrection, resurrected sim gets
relationship boost with caller

I got myself a zombie by paying about 3000 simoleons. I haven't tested the personality reversal range yet. Might be interesting to give it a try and see what you get.

I did pay the max to resurrect a sim's wife. They were much in love before she died. But after resurrection, he had to woo her all over again before she fell in love with him again. Not sure if that is always the case.
