I want a robot

How do i get a robot?
coz i seen pic of sims with them and i want one.
how do i get one, is it a reword or something!

you need OFB. If you have it you must buy a workbench to build robots, then your sim must work hard on it and when he receive a gold disctintive he will be able to build a Servo robot... I hope it helps, my english is pretty bad:(

alternative solution i.e if you don't own OFB:
get one of the "in-House"-NPCs (preferably christianluv's All-in-one-NPC" over at MTS2) and give him a robot-skin through sim-surgery with SIMPE
That way I had a robot gardener once

Less complicated that SimPE are the skintones you can download from MTS2 and other places. Do a search for robot skins.

I used those downloads a lot in my story The Dagmar Diaries. You can see a couple on this page in posts number 137 amd 138: http://forums.worldsims.org/showthread.php?p=122485&highlight=DAGMAR#post122485

The Servos, however, have to be built in the game, as Vega said, when you have the OFB expansion pack.

But how would one apply them ???
My point was: if you don't own OFB or NL (thus not having any surgery station) and still want to have a fully funktioning Robot the skin alone doesn't really help much so there is no way around SimPE (it's not as complicated as it looks at first).

-leNot sure I understand. The robot skins I'm talking about are just skintones which you can use like any skintone when creating a sim in CAS. So they're really just regular sims, except with a skintone that makes them look like a robot, like Arkin here. He's definitely not :rolleyes: a Servo, which requires OFB and a gold badge in robotics:

OK..I get it now...you create a sim, that looks like a robot but otherwise acts like a regular sim.
That sure works like you described and the illusion is there until he/she has some business in the bathroom to attend to:D :D
