Hi is it possible to have
boolprop useshaders true
Put somewhere in the sims start up. I have to goto a lot and enter it every time in the cheat code. For some strange reason sims 2 seasons doesn't think I have a pixel shader. I'm a bit sick of having to use the same cheat code over and over again:rolleyes:

Mirelly has a set of cheats that she adds to the config file, I believe. Check the last 3 or 4 posts in this thread:

Actually, it's post #267 in that thread. :) I don't think that the cheat you want is in that zip, but you may be able to figure out how to add it.

Or ask Mirelly, if she would be so kind...:o

Go to \My Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Config\ and open userStartup.cheat file in notepad. Then just add boolprop useshaders true to the list.

Hi there is no file called.
userStartup.cheat file

The File isn't created by default.
If it's not there yet, just create it in Notepad or any ASCII-Editor...
it's a simple text file and needs to be named userStartup.cheat

All cheats in there are automatically active, the moment you start the game

I tried it. However it might not work for boolprop useshaders true.
I hope someone has a solution .
