If you have tried everything else to fix your problem, ALL of the things I suggested in the threads above, and your game still crashes when LOADING, then I need you to try making a shortcut and instead of adding the -w
add this:
-no_thread_init
please note, that in some situations, and for some users not experiencing this crash, it is possible that this tag can make your game unstable in other places. THis is a last resort for those of you who with this problem. Please repsond to this thread only if you are definatlely crashing at start up and have tried everything I've asked you to. And let me the results.
THanks. We're trying to indentify what is going on on your machines. We have aquired machines that match machine specs listed on this BBS as having the problem, but we are not able to reproduce the crashes.
