View Full Version : Bon Voyage - when does it launch in the UK?

I THINK it may have launched now, but I could have been waiting for the US launch date by mistake. :silly: Does anyone know for sure when it launches in the UK, or if it already has?

And is it any good? I'll get it regardless of what people say, really, but it'll be interesting to hear what it's like. :D Can pets go on holiday? I don't think they should... And is the 'blog' on the official Sims 2 site telling the truth when it says they were able to leave their kid and pet at home with a nanny? :biggrins:

it launches the 7th of Sept. I think thats today, i dont remember.

Pets, unfortunately, cannot go on vacation, nor can toddlers or pregnant women. Yes, you choose who you have go on vacation with you. So the child can stay home if wanted.

I object to my taxpayer's money being used to provide interest free loans to students so they can buy video games ... :p :rolleyes:

Enjoy it, sailorchiiavalon. Studying is the worst possible way to pass one's 3 or 4 years sentence ... I mean term ... no I meant sentence :rolleyes:

(I agree. It'll be the only game I buy with my student loan. The rest will go on useless stuff like rent and bills :rolleyes:)

7th September was yesterday? Cool! Where would you recommend the best place to buy it from in the UK? I've used play.com before.

Asda is usually the cheapest, though there's not a lot of difference, to be honest.

Okay, thanks! :D Yup you're right, it DID launch then. I saw it in shops today. But I'm not buying it yet, because I've just started 6th Form and MUST NOT get distracted playing games!

Oh... wait. This forum is, itself, a distraction... :rolleyes:

Well, I usually buy it at Game or Woolworths because I can't walk to the nearest ASDA. It'd take about an hour-and-a-half. :knockedout:
