When i put in the CD in and click on the Sims 2 icon, this message pops up:
'Failed to find an DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapters in this system! Please make sure you have DirectX 9.0c compatible graphics adapter and have installed the lastest drivers provided by the manufacturer. The application will now terminate.'
What do I do? i have tried 2 install DirectX 9.0c off the net but it says its installing then nothing happens. My sister fiddled with the screen settings the other week and i think it may have something to do with it. The screen res is 1280 by 800 pixels... Highest (32 bit) colour and the display is 'Plug and Play Monitor on SiS M661MX'.
Ino it wasnt this before and before it was changed the Sims worked no problem!!! My little sisters favourite game Dance!Online does not work either since the settings have been changed, the same message comes up when she tries to play.
Please Help!!!!!
