Yellow smog hangs heavy in the air above the congested roadways as workers struggle to travel from hive-like homes to massive industrial centers. Elsewhere, Farmers stroll from their homesteads to the community garden along a quiet dirt road. Nearby, on the hill, church bells ring next to... a haunted house? Beside the abandoned castle? Across the street from a clown college!?
This is definitely not the SimCity gamers may remember from years past. Electronic Arts has brought in a different developer (city-building veterans Tilted Mill Entertainment, which created Caesar IV and Children of the Nile) and given a whole different outlook to the franchise.

Spiffy: Lots of character; plenty of variety; very simple gameplay.
Iffy: Might be too shallow for hardcore sim fans; still undergoing frame rate optimization.
