It says software succesflly installed, but...I CANNOT LAUNCH THE GAME!!

I have sims 2 for mac. I also have university and pets installed. Today I bought open for business.

I popped in open for business, went through installation instructions, and it said software was successfully installed

However, I Cannot launch the game! when i open my sims 2 folder, the sims icon to click on to start the game still has the "Pets" logo, and when trying to start the game, it says "please insert sims 2 pets"

I thought after installing, this icon was supposed to change? And if the software was successfully installed, why can't I run the game! Ive been trying to figure it out for an hour and just cant.

Since Pets is a newer expansion pack you have to play the game with the Pets CD. No worries, all your Open for Business stuff will be there. Always play with the CD of the most recent expansion pack you have installed.

I ran the game on the pets cd, but none of the open for business features were on it :(
I couldn't access the "business town" or whatever it's called. it's really odd.

Whew! Good, you had me worried with your first reply back to me. I was trying to figure out why that would be...scrolled down and saw this post. :) Glad it's working for you, enjoy OFB!
