Ridiculously long load screens.

When I load the sims 2, it loads quickly.
However, when I start loading a neighborhood, it takes 15 minutes. While loading a home, it takes 15 minutes.

Why is this? It only started happening 2 days ago.

Sounds like you might have done a lot of downloading in those 2 days. :p Don't worry, we all do. Anyway, my game can start getting slow when I download a hack and sometimes when I download something else again after that, my game goes back to normal (strange, I know).

I've heard that KatAnibus on this site has so much downloads that it takes her game an hour to load. :rolleyes:

Mine takes about two hours to load lol. i'm telling you, if i had my way I'd probably fill 50 hardwares of just female hair for Ts2 alone no lie lol.

Do you have a lot of custom content? If not, how old is your computer?

Well, it must have been my downloading.
My downloads folder is 1.01 GB
Time to start organizing.

So it should go back to normal and get adjusted, right?

Oh, and my computer is only 1 year old.
I have all expansions minus bon voyage and stuffpacks.
And 700 MB of RAM :(
