Gender

Just wondered if the whole species will be a special gender so that they can mate with whomever they want to or if there will be different genders?

I was just wondering the same thing. :rolleyes: It would be nice to use the editor to make male and female versions of the creatures. As we see in nature, very often they are not the same.

What I've read you cannot specify a gender.

I have also noticed in all the video's so far, that to have one eye or one arm/leg it has to be centered on the creature's body... I hope they add a feature, (perhaps by holding the alt key or something) to add just one when it is not centered on thecenter of the creature's body. :spin:

Ah, they would just fall over if their legs weren't centered.
Remember that the game engine has been proceduredly generated to coincide with gravity and the physics of balance.

However, the one eye thing could be changed, as you can't have a weired and wonderful creature if you can't put his one single eye on the back his third right arm?! :laughing2:

That.. way confused me.

I would be surprised at them releasing an expansion pack.. but then again, its Maxis.. Lol

Who knows. Maybe the expansion pack brings another level of depth to the world.. I mean, theres not a whole lot of content to expand on, as most of it is player created.

As you can see on the TS2 exchange, players over all make WAY BETTER houses than the ones that come stock with TS2.. So, would maxis really want to release an Expansion pack full of new buildings, cars.. creatures? I doubt it.

But, like I said, who knows?
