I think limited physical contact should be kept...keeps the person from fantasying too much or worst... underage relationships in bed.

teenagers will be able to 'play in bed' but nothing will come of it. But your right, they haven't said anything about younger sims interacting. They will most likely be able to hug as they were able to in the original sims.

Kissing maybe, hugging yes, 'playing in bed' thats going a lil over the top :p. but still, most teenagers aren't THAT bad, they should be allowed to cuddle and things...

I'd say when they become a teenager they can hug and kiss on the cheek and the polite kiss because those arent so bad but they shouldn't be able to play in bed untill they reach adult hood and shouldn't be able to kiss passionetly and firey like adults can.

More initiatives like the Production Diaries would be good too. I remember when Simcity4 was in development, there were heaps of articles that detailed the stages of production, and they were great to read.

Yeh... But they know that the Sims 2 is going to surpass any of the previous Sims expansions. They still need to promote MM - they can't just forget about it.

Not necessarily. Maxis are purposely making the information limited - it just creates excess hype for the game, and it's working. If there wasn't MM, I'd still bet you that they would hold information from us, especically since The Sims 2 is still MONTHS away from release.

Regardless whenever Sims2 comes out, I reckon it'd still have bugs. I'd rather it came out earlier, and then Maxis would then give us a patch.

Exactly. I think bugs are different for everyone - there are too many factors eg. your own computer, etc.

yeah ive never had any bugs on any of the sims EPs or the original so the sims 2 should be smooth sailing

Dunno about this.... The Sims 1 only required 2mb of video ram to run (if I remember correctly). And basically, it's obvious to see that The Sims 2 will be a HUGE jump in terms of graphics, and processing, so I think most people would do well with an upgrade of some sort in Memory, CPU, and Graphics.

That true, but it's all part of Maxis' grand scheme I guess. They WANT people to get interested about the game, they WANT to build anticipation.

Let's face it, we're all psyched up about this game, and we can't WAIT until it comes out. Now that sounds like a good response for a product, dunnit? :D

If we didn't know about ts2 we'd probably be way more excited about making magic. Probably a lot more people would have bought it. I was all excited about superstar until I heard about making magic, then I didn't even bother to buy it, because compared to sims2 expansions are nothing. I can see why maxis doesn't want to give too much info about sims2 until it's managed to squeeze all the money out of making magic that it can....

well if they hadnt released news of the sims 2 until after the making magik thingy was out and sold its fair share, a lot more people wouldve bought makin magik and there would be a shorter waiting time for the sims 2 to reach our computers!

I'm just so glad I didn't find out about it earlier! Imagine if I'd found out about it last year! Having to wait all that time! As it is I'm desperate after a couple of weeks!
