Sims 2 University Disk Trouble

Ive just finished installing the Uni Expansion Pack and everytime i go to start it a pop shows up saying "You are running the wrong version of The Sims 2. Please run The Sims 2 Deluxe instead." Can anyone help me?

I don't really know the deluxe version of TS2, and I know you don't have the deluxe one, and it's just the error message. But do you have other expansions other than Uni ? If you do, please install them in order of product release, maybe that will solve your problem, maybe. So, if you install TS2, Uni and Nightlife, maybe you wont get the error anymore when loading the game through Nightlife. Maybe the problem is also you installed Uni after any other EP or SP.
The order of release, in case you don't followed it over the years:
1- TS2
2- University
3- Nightlife
4- Open For Business
5- Family Fun
6- Glamour Life
7- Pets
8- Happy Holiday
9- Seasons
10- Celebration!
11- H&M
12- Bon Voyage
13- Teen Style (Stuff Pack - I think it's already released in the US, not here in Brazil yet)
And just as a knowledge base
14- The next EP with no name yet (to be released between january-march 2008)
