Hi everyone

Me and my girlfriend downloaded Sims 2 a few days ago and it works fine. But after some time she and I thought that we shuld download a exspansion so we could get some more stuff.

So we installd the exspansion and put the crack in the game directory and when we try to start the game it tells us that the Sims 2 Family fun stuff disc isnt inserted in the driver.
Thats werry odd due that I have hosted the file in deamontool and we have a crack that came with the pack. And there where no sign of complaining at the downloading site.

So... Should we be nice ppl and buy it, or do someone here know what trubbeling us?

Thankful for answears // André

It's not a matter of being nice people for buying it - you SHOULD buy it because it's the law. Downloading games without paying for them is illegal. Whichever way you look at it, it's theft. You wouldn't go into a store and steal a game, would you? Everyone who downloads games illegally has contributed to the need for companies like EA to use copy-protection software on the genuine game discs, the latest of which has resulted in messing up many peoples' computers including my own. This has cost me a lot of money to put right and a lot of stress too. Legitimate, law-abiding, honest people have had so much trouble due to SecuROM, the copy protection software on the last Expansion pack, so don't expect any sympathy. WorldSims does not support piracy and you won't find help here.

By the way, Family Fun Stuff isn't an expansion pack, it's a 'stuff pack'. It merely has extra objects - it's not a full expansion pack.

I'm now closing this thread to prevent further discussion.
