how to make [famous] friends fast

ok i dunno if there was another post like this or not but if u wanna make famous friends rilly fast then go downtown [if u have hot date] and buy lots and lots of diamond rings-i always go up to 50-then go up to a famous sim and just keep giving them diamond rings until they're good friends-then move on to the next one.......hope u make many friends with this info

Your sims count too. If someone you are at 100 with gets a star point, they count. This is easier because stars are snobby. Of course there are tons of hacked objects to do everything too.

That can get really expensive. My strategy is to go downtown and just eat dinner with them. That'll get them to a level where you can actually start talking about something other than yourself or show business, making it easier to get them up to 100.

When your sim on the superstar career track can only talk about self or biz and stuff like that I have them go someplace where there are objects you can have the other sim JOIN them in an activity, like I have my sim watch tv and click to have someone join them, or I have my sim play pool and have someone join, or my sim plays the pinball game and has the other one join. Once they have played and talked doing that for a while the relationship goes up enough to talk about interests and give gifts. That's when I start giving away all the homemade preserves I have my sim make for gifts, it's free! :p

I do that too FaeLuna. I get up my cooking skills by making preserves and when I want to make friends in Superstar I give the preserves as gifts.
Since you can only go to the Superstar screen once a "sim day" making preserves gives you something to do.
I also try to get my sim to eat when a superstar is eating so that they can build up relationship points.

I've tried to do the thing where my sim eats at the same time as superstars but I seem to have bad timing and by the time my sim gets their food and goes to eat, the more popular sim has gotten up and walked off! I managed to eat with one once and made the mistake of "name dropping" their OWN name to them, because I didn't know how that option works... OOPS!! :o They did NOT like that! :p
