Hi everyone! I was experiencing all kinds of problems with this game from installation to actually playing the game. First it would install, but it wouldn't load. Then I downloaded all the Windows hotfixes, and it would load but while playing it continually froze, skipped and crashed. It especially crashed if I tried to access the settings in the game. When I could play (being very careful not to access the settings panel), the mouse controls were very sluggish and jerky

I have a NVidea GeForce card and an HP Pavillion with 1GB RAM (running Vista) and my laptop is less than 2 months old so I figured that I had the latest driver. Even when I checked for latest driver from my Control Panel it told me I had latest one but I found out that it wasn't the latest NVidea release

I finally got around to updating my NVidia driver and now HURRAH!!!! I'm playing with absolutely no problems. No problems with controls, with accessing the settings panel, and best of all, no freezing or crashing.

When I was trying to update my driver, I encountered problems because the NVidea site was not recognizing my system. I finally found help with updating my driver from http://www.laptopvideo2go.com.

Maybe updating your graphics card driver will solve your problems, especially if you encountering crash problems in game play. I know it solved mine. As for installation problems, you have to download all the Microsoft hotfixes (again I found out that even with automatic fixex download enabled, I didn't have all the necessary updates).

Good luck!:knockedout:
