cars in TS2?

i heard theirs gonna b cars and im kinda dissapointed. wut would b the pnt of cars? the only places 2 go r ur vacation home or the community area (which isnt even deffinate yet).
a LOT of ppl want cars, but i dont get y!:)

Its because then you have the car and can drive tehre. You wouldn't have to be picked up by any1 else. That's just whay I think

I've never really gotten the point of driving a car in the Sims either. I don't see how much fun it's going to be driving to the community lot..

I would want a car because there would be a whole bunch of things to do with it. Drive in a garage. Possibly hit your house. There are hundreds of possibilities that may be in the game. Do you know when it is coming out though?

I think having a car would be awesome! No more paying 50 for a cab ride or 500 to go on vacation! Maybe there'll even be gas stations to pull into for gas!

I haven't seen it but I heard they had vehicles/cars in the game console version(s) of the sims game and as you moved up you went from something like a scooter to a real car. I think it would be fun for my sims to have a car of their own that gets better as they move up in life... :) What I really wish would be that my sims could get in their car and drive to the neighbors to visit them! ;)

SOZ Maxis has said that there will be no cars but if your looking for the Sims with cars you should try Butin Out:PS2 Gambox and Xbox

yeah buh didnt maxcis also say that they doubt there wuld b any communal lots but there is also i think cars wuld save money if u had to drive a taxi 2 somewhere it cost $ but if u had a car u culd save that money...on gas!lol

But for how little it costs to go downtown or on vaction, would it really be worth buying an expensive car? Especially when (at least me)you never go downtown very much at all.
