lol im planning on becoming an architect! thats why this game is soo appealing! and the fact that u can play God (hehe) but yeah thats what im gonna be! and if not that, its between either a lawyer, engineer, or an anesthesiologist.:D

I want this game to have more scandal - between the Sims that is. I think that'd be fun to observe... Also to see if they're smarter this time 'round *hopes*.

I think the aging and DNA addition would be the best part of the game.

Yea... indeed.

What they may do with The Sims 2 though, is streamline the cheating feature. What I mean by this is giving cheats, but not to a great extent. Example - Going from Simcity3000 to Simcity4, there were still cheats but not as many..... kinda. You've got to have played both to know what I mean.

i wouldn't be surprised if they do to cheats what they did goin into Hot Date.. just adding a lot of stuff in game that cheats did.

btw, i'm most excited about... about... i dont know, i voted aging.. so.. i guess aging?

Since I don't know about all of the new features the coolest I've heard about so far is the aging. My boyfriend says it'll be kind of morbid but I think it'll be kinda cool to have Sims grow and die like a regular life cycle.

Lol :) Don't you love it how we get to live our own fantasy lives through the Sims? And making the game even more realistic is going to be wicked! The Sims is like our own virtual-pets/dolls in a doll house. :p

I agree it is kind of like having dolls in a doll house...just sometimes wish there were a few more options on carpet, walling or objects to make my "dollhouse" look more like something I would live in. Especially the kitchen...seems like you either pick that ugly blue fridge or ultra-modern stainless steel...neither of which I'd have in a house of my own. But hopefully these are some of the things that will be changed in TS2.

Yes, I agree completely. More variety of Maxis-made objects/walls/floor would definately be nice. A lot of the user/custon made downloadable objects are good, but they don't compare with the real thing, in my opinion. But if Maxis says that there are over 500 items to be included into the initial release, seems like they're heading in the right direction :D

I agree that the custom made stuff is nice but many of the items I've seen are modern looking...for example, there is one site that has beautiful bedroom set except for the bed which looks as though the headboard is wood and leather...which just isn't my style.

Hopefully Maxis has taken into account all the different styles that folks may like....if not, I'm sure there will be zillions of fan sites for TS2 just like there are for TS1.

Exactly like a doll house...

In TS you could give your sims a certain amount autonomy. I wonder if you'll be able to turn on the game and just let it go?

I can't really pick a favorite one. They definitly have something in there for everyone! I'm one of those people that have a hard time making up my mind, but enjoy it more when there's as many options as they are planning to give us in the sims 2

I do only one cheat on my sims games. The rosebud one.

I love to make all my sims rich right away and afterall, it is a not a real life game, let have some fanasty.

The best rosebud cheat I ever found is:

rosebud(space);(space) and just hold down the enter button till you're satisfied.

I can't wait until sims die. And the genetics thing is soooo cool. It will be so cool to create huge long histories of families. You could have two sims that become enemies. And then way way later their great great great great grandchildren still hate each other, and one lot can be really rich and the other family can be really poor. Like Capulets and Montagues or something. Sims will have histories!!! It's going to be so so so so so so so so cool.

by the way, I've found

rosebud;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;!;

to be way faster. EAch ! is one thousand, and you can still hold the enter button down, only for every click it does like ten or twenty thousand depending on how many !'s you've used.
