It has almost been two weeks since the announcement of a Sims 2 Giveaway at WorldSims. The contest is in full swing at WorldSims with many members eyeing the prize:
1 Copy of The Sims 2.
83 members have signed up since then with many particpating in the contest.
Since the announcement 2877 posts made with 1277 of them about The Sims 2!
Think it is too late to join the contest? Nope! The contest has only just begun and you still have a chance to win a copy of The Sims 2!

WORLDSIMS.ORG PRESS RELEASE - JULY 26, 2003 7:20PDT
Saturday, JULY 26, 2003 7:20PDT - A rumor of a Sims 2 Giveaway in the Sims 2 community has been confirmed by WorldSims.
Details have been finalized by ManagerJosh and he has been confirmed. ONE Copy of The Sims 2 will be given away to a WorldSims Member. The give away will take place around the release time of when Maxis releases The Sims 2 to the public.
"We hope to give away The Sims 2 to a lucky member about a week or couple of days before the game is officially released to the public, though trying to get our hands on a copy will certainly be a challenge." ManagerJosh noted during the press release.
"The Sims 2 has definitely made some heads turn in The Sims 2 Community and I believe it will change the face of gaming once more." Christian commented during a discussion with fellow WorldSims Administrators. Definitely a vote of confidence in The Sims 2 Project, one only hopes that The Sims 2 will break records and expectations set forth in the community. Already released by Maxis is their new DNA system which has created a lot of discussion among the community
The Rules of the Contest are as followed:
1) Member of WorldSims (Sign up is free).
2) Have 600 USEFUL Discussions related to The Sims 2. This does not include spamming and forum games.
3) Open to all International Residents.
Though not confirmed, ManagerJosh declined to comment if there will be additional Sims 2 giveaways during this contest.
