There are some new files and a new functionality range at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/simlogics/

In the Timed range there is a buffet table and a canteen servery counter. They are both made from the Maxis buffet table, but while the timed buffet table looks just like the original, and serves delicious party food, the servery counter is a drab grey melamine, with oblong baking trays, and only serves meat and greens. Both have the ability to be set to open and close twice a day, or open or close manually when you choose. They fill themselves, clean themselves, and serve unlimited portions while open.

The new range of objects is the Targetable range. These objects, which currently include a door, toilet, shower and handbasin, can be set for use by a particular type of Sim, such as men only, children only, female guests only, NPCs only etc.

Gees why not get your own host over at ESNetwork (http://hosting.coolsimstuff.net) and use a simple portal application to distribute files?

A Yahoo group is free of charge, and free of any need to learn to set up websites and html links (-: The guy who does the web work on Livin It Up says it takes up so much of his time he barely has time to create objects!

That's why you get a portal application...everything is generally automated.

One of the applications you might want to look into is called ezDatabase.

Its free plus very nice in managing downloads.

Besides getting hosted over at ESNetwork is free as well

Well, I've already got a domain host with 250Mb space and CGI scripting, frontpage extensions etc - all virtually unused! but I still chose Yahoo with its measly 20Mb because apart from anything else I can't suddenly lose my account because I go 1kb over download allowance one day ()-:

If you want, ESNetwork can host your domain. Just let them know you have a domain and they can assist you in setting up everything :)

These timed and targeted objects sound really interesting... I've GOT to learn more about hacking objects and start messing around trying to make my own ideas work... someday... sigh... :p

I think the person asking for the cheat codes misunderstood and though you could set the original maxis objects as timed or targeted though use of cheat codes. :)
