SLI vs Crossfire

Which do you think is better? :D Why? Is SLI overrated? Is Crossfire the way to go?

Well as I understand it Crossfire is hardware driven as Sli is software driven.
Basically it can only be as good as the hardware or the software.
If the hardware is poorly made then it won't be very efficient and if the software is poorly wrote it's flaw will be evident in the program.
The main thing is if you're not using a monitor larger than a 24" monitor you're wasting your money.
Also some games like Sims2 aren't made to utilize Crossfire or Sli.
Personally I like Nvidia so I'll say Sli is the better choice.
