New Chat Rooms....How Badly Do You Want to Chat?

Inlight that Maxis is closing down the chat rooms over at their sites and have listed us as a recommended site to chat, our chat rooms are officially opened.

My apologizes for the clicking sounds right now in the chat. We are trying to raise funding for brand new chat system.

We at WorldSims have been looking for a chat client/server application for a while. We've been keeping features offered and total cost in mind throughout our search. For all of you who badly want to chat, I have good news. We have finally found the one that is right for WorldSims. It will meet all of the goals we had in mind and comes in at a very low cost compared to it's competition.

The chat solution we have selected is RealChat Enterprise Edition (http://www.realchat.com)

Unfortunately at $695.00 U.S. Dollars, it is beyond our price range. We've have only $55.00 in the bank after donations, ad revenue, and server costs. Two new servers and high bandwith lines arrived yesterday adding to the additional server costs. The new servers are meant for the chat rooms.

This is not an impossible goal. All that we require is a little help from you. If only 64 members were to donate $10 to the chat fund, we would be chatting in no time. With this spirit in mind I have decided to put $10 in the pot myself.

We only need 63 more donations. Who want's to chat?

a money order is basically a safer way to send cash right? you go to the post office and ask them to make a money order of your specified amount and where to send it, and they do. am i correct?

It's sort of like that, you take your money to get the money order, and then YOU fill it out and YOU send it to where it goes, it's not like you just give them the money and they send it as a money order. You can get money orders at a lot of different places, not just the post office. Many convienience stores and grocery stores can make out or cash money orders too. I know there is a small fee for purchasing a money order and there might be a fee to cash it too, but it's MUCH safer than sending cash because, like a check, it has to be the person it's made out to cashing it in! :)
