hello there before i tell you all my problem i'd like to tell that i'm not american of english so my english wont be extremely good.
alright then here is my problem.

i got the sims 2 and i bought it a year ago or more..
i played this game on computer ''X'' there it worked fine.
now i want to play it on computer ''Y'', and when i put the cd in the computer it autoplays and i can install it.
then when it's done with installing it asks if i want to play and i press yes and then it loads for a phew secs and then it asks for the right cd.
it is in the drive and still it asks if tried both drives none of them makes it work and play the game.

this is an original cd no copy and everything is ok on other pc's it works fine.
this computer ''Y'' is okay i think because it plays other cd's fine.

if someone would help me it would be very nice :D

Well I have no problem with your english at all.
If memory serves me correctly it's because the cd player isn't spinning the disk fast enough to read it. (I think)
Here look at this (although it's in English) .

have you checked the disk for scratches or smudges?
Have you used a laser lens cleaner to clean the laser inside the cd player?
That's all I can think of at the moment.

no scratches or smudges.
i have not used a laser lens cleaner i dont even know where i can get that ;)
there is 1 cable loos but im not sure if i should attach it to the motherboard.
it starts from the disk and there is a hole in the motherboard but i dont know what the risks are if i would stick it in there.
it may cause my computer to crash or ''die''.
what do you think?

You mean coming out of the cd player itself?
If it's what I think it is it's for the audio when you record.
A little 2 wire cable going down to a 2 pronged header on the motherboard.
The laser cleaner should be relatively easy to find if you have any stores (online or retail) if they sell electronics stuff and fairly cheap too.
All it consists of is a cd with a tiny brush on the bottom that wipes dust off of the laser in the cd player.
It's good for dvd players too.

If the cable is loose go ahead and make sure it's fastened correctly.
I don't think it will damage anything but if it's not hooked up correctly then it won't work.
Do you mean the hard drive cable ?
