Here is the long waited solution to a pretty common error. However, there is good news and bad news. Good news, there is a solution to the following error:
Game Exception
Unhandled exception - unable to find valid device
Type: class TMill:Common::Exception
File:c\sc5enginework\source\engine\dxdevice.cpp
Function:TMill::Engine::GetBestDeviceId

I have Windows XP and tried to run this game, when I got this error. I was searching for the answer when I stumbled upon this useful advice:
Ok.. Here's the guide to getting this puppy to work....
1) Dl 2) Unpack to HD 3) Install (use Keygen in crack folder - works great!) 4) update to latest version using patches (Current is #4) 5) DL NODVD .exe from internet (there are lots around - use Google) 6) Replace the .exe in game directory with DL'd one
I don't know what this means. I am a bit computer illiterate so i don't know what that means. That's the bad news. If someone could translate that into simple words, that would be great. If someone could benefit from this, let me know. Thanks!!
