sims 2 university not working.. please help :)

hello,

i have sims 2, pets and now university.. i just bought a new laptop that runs on windows vista.
when i run university it freezes when i get to create sims. i can play the sims already on disc but i can't create...
does it have anything to do with vista? as when i had xp i had no troubles with pets or 2...
any ideas would be appreciated.. thankyou :)

Try doing a search for the cigen package which is created by the body shop program and sometimes it can become corrupted and cause problems.
Just for fun and giggles look for the groups cache and accessories cache files also and delete all three of them.
They should be in your Documents/ea games/ sims2 folder.
