Spore Just won't run

I have just bought spore, put it in my drive, and nothing.

It doesn't autorun and when I look in my computer its not there, asif i haven't put anything in there. I put another game disc in and that runs fine.

Any ideas whatsoever guys 'cos Im clueless. The disc does run on my mates computer. I have all the system requirements too.

Are you sure that your disk drive is a DVD drive?

i just installed spore and i think i had the same problems as you. i don't have a icon either my game was under start>games in windows vista.
