Spore frozen on loading screen ><!!!

Okay, I started playing the game On my laptop which has windows vista and I got to the cell stage, then treaded onto the creature stage, played that for a bit then had to get off, saved it and quit, I got on later to find out that after continuous tries My game would not ever load! I tried making a brand new file and that froze as soon as I got to the creature stage...
I bought the game via direct2drive.com

I have the same exact problem as you. Downloaded off Direct2Drive and made it to creature stage and now freezes at the load screen. I attached dxdiag report to this post. Sorry this post is so late, I just found this thread today on Google.

Do you recall how often you saved? Also, look into updating your GeForce drivers too. Look into updating your GeForce GO drivers too.
