I am in the space stage, and everytime i defend my home planet from an attack it crashes when i go around and loot the cash that drops from the destroyed ships. I dont know what is going on with it, except that it happens at the exact same time, everytime.

it just says that spore has encountered a problem and needs to close. then it asks me if i want to send an error report.

Open C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\SPORE\Sporebin (I think this is the correct directory for Vista users. I know this is where Spore is installed at for XP Users)

Look for some text documents with the text "Exception Report". Upload them would you?

The dreaded missing debugger file.

If you can install this, see if it helps any.

It should supply the necessary dynamic link library to hopefully suppress and/or correct the error.

It should install a trial debugging program called Dasm32 - a debugger/disassembler.

If it doesn't work, the only thing to do is wait for a patch from EA.

O yea, could you post up a dxdiag report as well? There might be something in there too.

I am Experiencing the Same problem,

I was able to download dasm32, But i am unfamiliar with the program, and unsure of what to do with it once its downloaded.

Any help would really be appreciated,

The purpose of the program is that it's a debugger. Maxis left some sort of reference inside Spore and thus we're trying to attempt to supplement it its existance in hopes it won't cause Spore to crash, but rather trigger a secondary debugging routine that will allow the game to play to a certain extent.
