Spore Not Working

Hi, I've been having a lot of trouble trying to get SPORE to work. My computer meets all the specs and i have the right type of drive. It supposidely installs but then nothing happens and no icon in my games or on my desktop shows up, and when i try to open it through the disk drive my computer makes a sound like it's doing something, but nothing ever comes of it. Previously this happened and I uninstalled everything and got rid of EA's download manager thing. But before there were files to be found and icons seen. Now nothing, zip. So i thought hey i'll just try to download the creature creator, but that shows an error message telling me that SPORE full version is already on my computer, but when i search for the files nothing comes up under the search spore or ea spore, and i can't just look under ea because i have several Sims games. So if anyone has a clue let me know, but i'm going to try wiping my computer this weekend if i can't find anything. :mad:

Vista sometimes doesn't put in under the Start Menu or create an icon. Find the location where it installed to (Spore's directory) and then in the "sporebin" folder, you will see SporeApp.exe. Right click that and select Send to Desktop (create shortcut).

I'm not sure what the normal path for Spore would be, but mine is: F:\Spore Creature Creator\Sporebin (for some reason, it created my game in the Spore Creator Creator folder)
