I have been playing Spore since it came out last week, I had a few problems and had to update my driver and it was working perfectly! Now I have a whole new problem...

I have got to the space age on my first game and every SINGLE time I am told to go out into space the whole game crashes.. no error message just that its stoped working and needs to close. I was advised by the Suppport team to uninstall manualy from my computer as a file seemd to be missing, however now when i try and re-install i get no mention of spore anywhere on my computer appart from the add/remove section in the controle pannel, but it DOES play when i put the cd into the pc only to crash again at the same point (the point where my spacecraft is going from the planet to the solar system for the very first time).

Can anyone offer any help on this??

Does it literally crash as in a crash error message comes up or does it simply don't respond? Or does the mouse move but it's just a blank screen?

It stops the screen goes Black then after 10 sec or so it goes back to my desktop and says that Spore has stopped working do you want to wait or close i tried waiting and it never responded, so i have to close and start up again.
The only place i seem able to install it and see all the files is on my external harddrive. iv started a new game and nearly at the space age so im waiting to see if its going to crash in the same place again... Oh the mouse turns big and blue when it crashes...i dont know if that means anything??
