Spore Gets stuck while loading

Hi, while loading the civilization stage the loading gets stuck on equalizing urban dynamics. It does not seem frozen since the music is still playing and you can move the mouse and the mouse icon is still turning as if it is loading. I started at the cell stage and advanced this far without any problems. Any help? Thanks.

seemed like it might have just been that specific game, I started a new planet and everything worked fine.
