Help with Tribal Stage

I've been playing spore for a few days now, and its seemed to be fine. However, when I got to the tribal stage, after building a music hut and become friends with the pink tribe once, i tried again to become true allies (you know blue smily face to green smily face) but right after the bar for the happiness meter fills up when you play music, it crashes. Any help plz? Not sure, but im running on a mac.

By all means, it should be fine. It should not be crashing. Check out for a Mac patch this week for Spore.
