Update at Livin-It-Up (http://www.livin-it-up.net) October 25, 2003

That time again already? Wow, I guess it is! Update Saturday night at Livin-It-Up. Crazy, so much happens in two weeks around here, where do we begin?

For starters, please join us in extending a warm welcome to our latest creator, Mhari. Mhari is relatively new to creating, but already displays good taste and skill in her creations as well as an attitude displaying the level of insanity required to properly fit a member of our staff. Welcome Mhari!!

Next, and I know you really want me to shut up and get to the good stuff about now, but just the same. We'd like to take just a second to say thank you to all who've donated to the site be it for donor objects (http://www.livin-it-up.net/donors/), or just kindness/support. Not only for helping us pay yet another bill for yet another month, but also being a free site is important to us and people's continued support is what will keep us free. Thank you!

Slim, what can I say, he kept us hanging for a month on this one, but made it just in time for Halloween. A haunted house, complete with the ghosts and ghouls, a ton of tricks, and maybe even a few treats. We apologize for the lack of detail displayed, offering too much would ruin the surprise. Mortuary, cemetary, haunted house, it's got it all with a ton of original objects by Slim including a few with hacked bases by Cravze. And folks, when we say a ton, there's six zip files to complete this house from 116kb to 4.78mb in size. Enjoy searching through the house, have fun with the treats, but watch for the tricks!!

That's not enough Halloween for you? Ohmikeghod adds a "Bring Out Your Dead" cart piled with bodies drawn by a skeletal horse. Also, a spider web column.

Bah, as usual, probably like a lot of people, I've about had it with the holiday before it's even come. Moving on to the more normal day to day items...

Outdoor, we've got two new vehicles by Cravze. A nice new pickup truck in deep red, or (more for your, well, what's a polite way to say cheap ***,) still in fine condition, yet affordable, an old blue sedan. For your landscaping delight, (I'm thinking pool area myself,) Pendragon's created lighted shrubbery in a variety of sizes and shapes.

Indoor, Mhari starts off with a nice little living area in green with pine wood and a whimsical bathroom in white with multicolor polka dots. >From Ohmikeghod, Bluegenie2, and Mhari, we add yet another batch of cozy rugs to the collection. Paintings, tapestries, clocks, and some gorgeous decorative wall-fans from Mhari and Bluegenie2.

If you're looking for more normal real estate, perhaps something with just a tad less life of it's own? Sweetheart's latest architectural submission is "Black Manor". Black Manor was named for the family that used to live here and are now buried in the back yard. It is located at 2 Sims Lane. This is a 14 room manor. 3 baths, 2/3 bedrooms, and very large garage, along with living space. For finishing touches, we've got walls by NorthernKat and Bluegenie2.

For the living, we finally added a few more children's skins. Mhari has made several ranging from play wear for both the girls and boys to some very cute little girl's dresses. And if real life has given you your fill of kids already, not to worry, Slim sent several hot new ladies casual skins. From jeans to short shorts to... well, you'll have to see that for yourself. Finally, from Lachelle, three ladies casuals of perhaps a bit more demure nature.

We've replaced our old chat with a new system (http://www.livin-it-up.net/talk/chat/). So, for those annoyed by the pop-ins we were getting from other unrelated channels and such from the service we were using, that will no longer be an issue. We're hoping those that had difficulties with the previous will have better luck with the new system. Staff stops by often, and though there's not always someone sitting there waiting to entertain, it's often a good time, anyone is welcome to use our chat for Sims related discussions.

Catch you next update, enjoy.

Where to begin? The house, outfits, skins, faces are all very nicely done. Someone must have been working really hard, and it shows.

With 16 of us working on stuff and having bi-weekly updates, it's easy to take time to do things right. I don't think any of us are overworked, and because of that, we have fun doing what we do!
