Sims 3 Collector's Edition - Is it worth it?

Do you feel The Sims 3 collector's edition is worth ordering? Or are you going to stick with the regular edition?

Stuck with the regular one. Doing so allowed to me to instead get the game and the Prima Guide separately... which I preordered for about $13.00 at Target. :)

Any advantages of getting it separate?

$50 + $13 < $70 :p....and the other included stuff wasn't really worth it to me.

The other advantage is, since I ordered the game in person but the guide online, there's the chance that I might get the guide first. I know that when I bought TS2, I got the guide about three or four days in advance of the game itself.

I had every intention of going with the CE. The more I thought about it however, the more I realized that I don't really need the CE. I do still want it to an extent, but in the long run I went ahead and just pre-ordered the regular edition. In my mind the bonus stuff just wasn't enough to justify spending an extra $20. I think I'm happy with my decision, lol.

I've not decided. I don't know whether I'll buy it through GameStop where I ordered it, or through work.... which may have it throughout the day, because it's an unlikely place for most Simmers to go to get it ;)

I pre-ordered the CE version mainly because i wanted the plumbob drive. I'm going crazy from anticipation (Only 4 days left!!!)

I don't know if getting the collector's edition is worth. You can download a car and get the guide right? Ill see when I go to the store this week.:bunny:

I bought the collectors edition mainly because the regular one was going to be released only a week later in stores, wherelse the collectors edition will be released on 2nd June, hence my decision.

To me I'd say its worth it because I'm ...

#3 My friend bought it for me! So the cost didn't really affect me.. :rolleyes:
