Do you play games to get achievement points?

Do you play games sometimes just to get achievement points, or just for the fun of playing?

I'm a bit of both I will rarely buy and play a game purely to get achievement points however if I have a game I will often try and get as many points as possible.

i would not buy it for acheivement points but would try and get as much as i could

In my opinion, I play a game for the fun of playing it (and used it for school purposes)... by the way, I have been playing SimCity 4 for quite a long time, and I even use that game to make me inspired to go to UC Berkeley, in which I used that in my essay regarding myself as to why I chose Urban Studies, and I got accepted to UC Berkeley!
